Well, this was hardly ideal. Nobody wanted to make out in front of their professor, even if it was a FAKE make-out. In a way, that was almost worse. Like watching a sex scene with your parents ––– ugh. SHUDDER. But, if there was one thing Betty Cooper was, it was professional. Besides, this was educational. It was important college students understand the importance of consent. But gee, did it have to be her and Damon? –– a guy she’d barely spoken a word to before today, mind you, their lecture hall being so massive that now it felt like all the world’s spectators were watching them on the dusty lounger the TA had pulled out from the back-alleys of God knows what out-of-budget theatre department?
Quietly, while the professor lectured on the importance of YES and NO, she leaned in as if conspiring an escape. “ Sorry about this, ” she said, though they both knew it wasn’t her fault. “ One way to start the semester, right? ”
