a supporting role, but she was born
to play  juliet !

                 real dramatic actress  ! ❞

whoops – that definitely sounded bitchy.
hailee had been in the pitch perfect mo - 
vies, and she was a pretty good actress
( in true grit, at least ) and an okay singer … 

              ❝ i mean, i wan'na be the best juliet
                 since olivia hussey, of course ! ❞

              Betty is a girl who is more than fine being a background player. In the people who matter’s eyes, she would always be a LED. It was fine by her. Some people were just… made for the SPOTLIGHT, and Mary-Jane Watson was definitely one of them. Unlike some others, she worked damn hard for it too. You had to respect that ––– nearly as much as you hvd to respect her PASSION. 

“ Careful, you might have lit a powder keg with that. The Steinfeld stans might come out of nowhere and attack you now, ” she snickered. “ But hey, one day, who knows, you might have your own OVERLY PROTECTIVE fans. I’d join that group now but, I don’t know if I’m invested enough. Sorry to say I wouldn’t kill anyone for you, MJ. ” 

She pats her friend’s shoulder, as if it needs consoling and opens the door to the diner for her. “ After you. ”
