reggie’s beginning to feel like his life turned into a nicholas sparks movie without his notice.
and he’s none too pleased about it.
he’s never been the chick lit romance kind of guy, never been into all those teen cliches. but there’s something about betty cooper that flips a switch in him, makes him want to give her all of that. the flowers for no reason, the stargazing on his roof, bringing her all her favourites from pop’s, texting her when he’s thinking of her to tell her that he is. the reggie of ages past would have recoiled from all of it, dismissed it as insincere crap that didn’t compare to the big stuff — it’s a good thing he buried reggie the rotten a long time ago. still. he could do without all the “notebook” parallels happening right now. they’ve really got to stop getting caught in biblical downpours like this.
