   ❝   …yeah, kinda wanna know why you jumped out at me like that.   ❞   reggie knew exactly why. he was holding why in his hand. but damn, he’d been hoping he could get away with this a little longer. he pulled the mac and cheese closer to his chest, protective of his pilfered snack. innocent until proven guilty.   ❝   can a guy not enjoy his mac and cheese in peace anymore?   ❞  it was a bold tactic, admittedly, but reggie and denial were old friends. his eyes darted around, searching for something that would provide a hasty exit. he pulled his bottom lip between his teeth when he came up empty.

            He was going to DIE at her hands. When Betty had turned into Jughead Jones, she couldn’t recall, but probably somewhere along the way when her favorite mac and cheese, SENT FROM HOME, started disappearing like a body in an Agatha Christie novel, probably. Now, she’d finally apprehended her killer, and he had THIS to say for himself? Noises, incoherent and garbled, a disbelieving series of scoffs that came right from the soul, couldn’t stop coming out of her mouth, a waterfall of offense and disgruntlement. “ Are you KIDDING me?! Reggie, the tupperware has my initials on it! ” She continued on before he could say it was kind of dorky, exasperated, “ I can’t believe you. THIEF! ”
