EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CARAMEL:
name origins: caramel was named by chic, betty’s brother. the reason he called him that is because it was fall when he found him and chic was seriously craving caramel apples. that’s seriously it.
how he was found: caramel was found when he was only a few months only just… wandering the park near their house. chic was playing kickball with a bunch of his friends when the ball rolled over a hole in the ground a ways away and got stuck there. while he was there, chic heard this yowling from above and noticed that somehow, this little runt of a cat was stuck up on the lowest branch and was too terrified to come down. up went little chic cooper, rescuing the cat. he abandoned the game and took the cat straight home. the coopers put up posters asking if anyone had lost a cat, but when no one came by or called, betty was already too attached and begged her parents to let her keep him. since betty never ever begs for anything, they let her, and ever since he’s been a part of the family.
personality and mannerisms: i guarantee you’ve never met a more scaredy-cat cat ever. he disliked the stairs and will run away if you point any object at him. it’s the funniest thing ever. also, caramel hates strangers and refuses to leave the house ever. his favorite things to do are lie around with his tail swinging this way and that and eat. a cat after my own heart. he’s very affectionate though and loves having the bridge of his nose stroked.
