It’s his lucky day! First, the vending machine yields him two packages of Skittles ( the sour kind, for his sophisticated palette, of course ), and now baked goods are raining down on him. It takes less than a second for him to register and plunge his hand into the plastic. They’re still warm! “If you asked me to marry you right now I’d have no choice but to say yes,” he said as he pulled a treat out, taking a giant bite and feeling the drip of caramel, like sarcasm, on his tongue. Mouth full, he spits his next words delicately. “I’d say it’s beautiful.”

              “ Jughead Jones, you FICKLE beast. ” She snorts. “ Don’t worry about that, apparently my type’s just clumsy redheads. ” 

There was a smile grabbing at her lips as she watched Jughead dig into the cookies. What a sight he made… majestic… free… and very messy. She flicked a crumb off her lap and let her chin rest on her palm. “ You know, I don’t know why you don’t just drop out of high-school and become a FOOD CRITIC. ” She leveled a stare at him. “ That’s a joke, by the way. Don’t you dare drop out. ”
