HE COULDN’T HELP IT ! ! ! he isn’t in the habit of having his wife risk her new job or anything , but he’s been without her all day , and he misses her dearly. Besides , if he knows betty —and he likes to think he knows betty— her phones tucked away safely. and on vibrate. so either she’s got the time to check the message or she’ll have a nice surprise waiting for her later.

the buzz of his phone announces the former , and he grins wider than he should. gods , he misses her a hundred times more now.

         They’ve been married for a few months, but the GLOW has far from lifted ––– in fact, it’s been there since they’d first gotten together… maybe even before then. Maybe it’s always been around. 

Sighing quietly, an under-her-breath exhale that speaks volumes on the present state of her pink-patterned undergarments, Betty quickly responds. This is so UNPROFESSIONAL of her, so… dare she say, naughty? She shakes her head. SILLY GIRL. 

SMS → HUBBY: That it definitely is. 
SMS → HUBBY: You sure have a lot of time on your hands… I’d say you should get a job, but I think you’ll be getting one from me later 😉
