i’m just gonna say it: it’s really disheartening that it’s 2019 and i still second guess myself every time i want to use a black fc for a character because i’m worried no one is going to want to plot with said muse and that i’ll be ignored on the dash.

as a black person myself it’s just so frustrating? sad? unfair? that i can’t play a character who looks like me and not be worried about being overlooked by this community. and by this community i mean the rpc at large.

ya’ll are so quick to provide multiple quality resources for your white faves but pocs from those same popular shows/movies are constantly ignored? or giffed at a way slower proportion? so even if people wanted to use those face claims, we cant because there arent enough quality resources of them?

and when there are families in groups that people can apply for, the black family is always the one that gets the least attention. rarely anyone applies for muses from that family and when they do they barely stick around AND I CANT EVEN BLAME THEM FOR IT B/C WHO WANTS TO PLAY CHARACTERS NO ONE IS PAYING ATTENTION TO??

like we preach about diversity all the fucking time but let’s face it. the most “diverse” some of ya’ll ever get is playing latinx characters and not even darker skin latinx but the white passing ones! and the same goes for the new turkish fcs trend. and listen i’m not complaining about that because i love those faces too but i just wish ya’ll showed just as much interest in playing faces with more melanin in their skin. and even if you don’t wanna play them, like INTERACT WITH THEM?!!? PLOT WITH THEM?!?! GIF THE HELL OUT OF THEM??!?! SHOW THEM THE LOVE YOU SHOW OTHER FCS ON YOUR DASH?!

GOING INTO THE NEW YEAR: remember to be kind to yourself. resolutions are not end all be all statements; they’re promises of potential, and even the smallest step taken, even that of a promise, is something momentous to be celebrated.

remember to be forgiving of yourself. remember that you are strong and capable of so much more than you imagine. however good or bad 2018 was to you, believe in the hope of a better year, if only because of a better you

Dear humans,

  • Tall women are cute
  • Muscular women are cute
  • Fat women are beautiful
  • Butch women are cute
  • Hairy women are beautiful
  • Trans women are beautiful
  • Women without make-up are cute
  • Short guys are handsome
  • Skinny guys are handsome
  • Fat guys are handsome
  • Femme guys are handsome
  • Trans guys are handsome
  • Guys in make-up are handsome
  • (too) Masculine NBs are still attractive
  • (too) Feminine NBs are still attractive
  • Fat NBs are still attractive
  • Hairy NBs are still attractive

we as a society should be moving away from judging people on physical credentials, however. Especially when they do not affect their moralistic standings. Fitting an aesthetic motif is not the only measure of character.

Evolution has created an unnecessary and frankly false biological fear of fraudulent humans, insincere emotions, and imposters. In a society clearly lacking those innate predators, we loosely superimpose their traits onto outlying groups who actually need support.

That instinct has severely corrupted our moral compass, typically when aimed at each other. We should be able to overcome this blatant evolutionary shenanigan. We are intelligent beings after all.

do you mind me asking why bisexual and pansexual both exist when bi can just account for both? 💕 (also i'd love some of that lgbt history)

sapphicvevo:

in all honesty it’s a matter of personal preference. pansexuality as a term started coming around mostly for trans people actually around the 90′s because while bisexuality was labelled as just two genders in the binary (male and female) by straight people when the term first got thrown around, pan was a label that a lot of trans people felt more comfortable using because there were transphobic cis bi people in the community as well as the imposed definition on us by straight people like there still is.

now that the definition for bisexuality has changed within the community and outside of it (for the most part lol), it’s become more inclusive to those outside of the binary as well!!

so it really is a matter of personal preference on how you identify
